Getting to know the real me

Where to begin? Let's see, before I begin telling you about my most deepest thoughts and incites into my everyday life, I better start out by telling you a little about myself. To start off I am one of six children, yes all from the same parents. We are like that great old movie, The Brady Bunch! I have to confess right off that I have no sense of smell, people seem so confused by the fact that I can taste contrary to this dilemma, but indeed I can. My own brother stuck his gym shoe to my nose for an entire hour at one point to prove to himself this fact was true. The same brother while driving me in the car, let a nasty one loose and found I made no sign of discomfort and then he himself had to role the window pull for fresh gulps of air. Another big fact you should know about me is that I am very artsy. I absolutely love to sing and write songs. My passion of this has always been with me from the point I learned what singing was. My sister-in-law's first memory of meeting me was me dragging out my boom box and performed "Titanic" with flinging arm motions and heartfelt moves. I draw when I'm in class or see a picture in my head. This same usage is put to work in my songs, I see a picture of a story from someone of something moving and I write about it. Alot of my songs have been transposed from poems I wrote in school. Actually some of them were so deep and emotional my friends at some points came to worry about my emotional state. Let me assure you I am fine, I let out my emotions, whether anger, pain, or happiness through my hand to the ink on that paper and then am held of that reoccuring thought. I am a very analytical person and dwell on aspects of life for many, exhausting hours at a time if I have nothing to be done. I like to try my hand at cooking every once in a while, and must say I made an amazing dessert concocted of peanut butter and chocolate with m&ms, nuts, and caramel icing, made into bars. When I find the right scene such as the sun rising on the fresh dew leaves or the fog by a lake, I love photography. If you are going to get to know me you must know I love the moon, it fascinates me, just as the creator of it does. Try as I might I can't comprehend His powerfulness. Yes, you guessed it, I am a Christian, but not that kind that is judgmental of others. I am struggling everyday, just as everyone else to get to wherever this world is leading, in hopes to become what little picture I can see of what He is calling me to be.

Well I must get on with where this is going to go. My plan and passion for my life as of now, which we all know how the future changes daily, is to become a singer/songwriter for my career. As of now I will be heading to Miss Tennessee as Miss Memphis in hopes to pursue two things. A chance to get my voice out in the open and for my Lord to use me in whatever way He wants for His glory. So if you have anything to say as I move forward into this journey of the unknown, let me know. I'll be here, posting my life as it is to be read.
